TOCA, the British Touring Car Championship organiser, has announced two changes to the technical regulations ahead of the meeting at Rockingham this weekend.
The first rule change applies to cars running to the full Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) specification (not S2000 based cars) and requires that their maximum turbo boost pressure be reduced by 0.05 bar.
The second rule change affects all turbo-powered cars (both NGTC and S2000) and imposes an increase to the minimum base weight of the car of 20kg.
Both rule changes will take immediate effect, starting at Rockingham this weekend.
