Brands Hatch in Kent is the next stop on the BTCC calendar on October 1st and 2nd. With Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden tied at the top of the table and Jason Plato only 24 points behind, it's sure to be an exciting event.

As the battle for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship intensifies, Brands Hatch in Kent provides the venue for the penultimate meeting of the 2011 season on October 1st and 2nd.
Following the last meeting at Rockingham, Honda Racing team-mates Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden are tied at the top of the championship table on 204 points. Silverline Chevrolet's Jason Plato is 3rd on 180 points but there are still plenty of points available in the remaining races for him to challenge for the title.
With at least 6 drivers still mathematically capable of winning the championship, the battle for the 2011 trophy is closer than ever and sure to produce the thrilling racing that the UK's premier motorsport series is renowned for.
