Rob Huff triumphs at a rain-soaked Donington Park as he tops the timesheets in both free practice sessions of the UK rounds of the FIA World Touring Car Championship.

The FIA World Touring Car Championship visits Donington Park for the UK leg of the 2011 season. Arriving at the Derbyshire circuit, the Chevrolet team are in a dominant position with their three drivers leading the championship. Rob Huff currently tops the table ahead of team-mates Yvan Muller and Alain Menu.
The first free practice session on Saturday was on a waterlogged track as Rob Huff posted the fastest time in his Chevrolet Cruze. Clearly his mechanics had cured the understeer that had caused him problems on Friday. Huff's team-mate and reigning WTCC champion Yvan Muller was second fastest with Tiago Monteiro third in his Sunred SR Leon.
For the second free practice session the rain had subsided but the track was still very wet causing very slippery conditions, however Rob Huff once again asserted his authority by topping the timesheets, this time with Gabriele Tarquini second in his Sunred SR Leon and Yvan Muller third.
If Rob Huff can replicate his dominance in the qualifying session later today he will be well placed to secure victory at his home meeting. Check these pages for qualifying results.
