Donington Park - Race 3 Report Update - 15/4/12

Gordon Shedden is awarded victory in race 3 at Donington Park following the exclusion of Mat Jackson and a time penalty for Jason Plato.
Gordon Shedden is now awarded victory in race 3
Mat Jackson has had his race 3 victory at Donington Park excluded due to a technical infringement. After the race, officials found his Redstone Racing Ford Focus had exceeded permitted turbo boost limits.
Jason Plato was also penalised by officials after the race when he was given a 2 second time penalty for gaining an unfair advantage by bumping the Honda Civic of Gordon Shedden off the track on the last lap of the race. This penalty originally promoted Shedden to 2nd and dropped Plato to 3rd, however following the exclusion of Mat Jackson from the race result, Shedden was awarded the win with Plato 2nd.
Tony Gilham awarded top-three result for Team HARD.
Mat Jackson's exclusion also means that Tony Gilham has been awarded his first ever top-three result, having originally crossed the finish line in 4th place in his Team HARD. Honda Civic.
Jason Plato tops the provisional championship table on 84 points with Matt Neal 2nd on 80 and Andrew Jordan 3rd on 76.
