By MJP Media | 5 January 2013
Autosport International is the place to be on January 12-13 if you are a motorsport fan. As well as a display dedicated to the BTCC, there will be many types of motorsport represented as well as the Live Action Arena.
Autosport International features the Live Action Arena
The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship will be well represented at this year's Autosport International at the NEC in Birmingham with fans being able to get up close to 7 cars from the 2012 season including the championship-winning Honda Civic of Gordon Shedden and the MG6 of Jason Plato. The drivers themselves are also due to be at the show along with Shedden's team-mate Matt Neal and Independents Trophy winner Andrew Jordan.
A huge variety of motorsport will also be on display in the Live Action Arena - the UK's largest indoor racetrack. Based in the largest hall at the NEC and seating 4700 racing fans, the Live Action Arena is a unique experience and every year it undoubtedly provides one the highlights of the show.
Terry Grant will be performing in the Live Action Arena
With walls and ceiling keeping all those wonderful sounds and smells close by, it's an intense hour that can really only be described accurately as 'petrol-head heaven', offering an unrivalled variety of racing machine action, record-breaking stunts and celebrity appearances, each with its own unique appeal.
From single-seaters, historic saloons, rallycross, supercars and drift cars to the very latest GT coupes and full-on oval races, the show is 100 per cent excitement and entertainment from start to finish.
A wide variety of motorsport will be on display at Autosport International
Today's rising motorsport talent will be present to bring you out of the closed-season blues with the 2012 McLaren Autosport BRDC Award finalists taking to the circuit! Also look out for Guinness World Record Holder and stuntman extraordinaire Terry Grant as he demonstrates the ultimate in car control and watch jaw-dropping drifting demonstrations from 2012 Maxxis British Drift Constructors Champions Team Japspeed.
Tickets for the show are on sale now. Adult tickets are available from £31 and children's tickets available from £20. For more information call 0844 581 1420 or visit www.autosportinternational.com.
