Jack had a brilliant season in 2012, securing the AirAsia Renault UK Clio Cup championship and has subsequently signed up for the 2013 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship with Tony Gilham's Team HARD. Already on the 2013 MSA Academy programme, Jack has this week received more good news after being selected to become part of the prestigious BRDC Rising Star Programme.

After an interview with Ian Titchmarsh and the BRDC Club Secretary Stuart Pringle at the Silverstone base, Jack was invited to become a part of the scheme aimed at helping the most promising young drivers in motorsport. Jack said "It's an absolute honour to be chosen for such a prestigious scheme. The use of the Clubhouse and other facilities over the next year is a brilliant opportunity for me. I would just like to thank everyone at the BRDC for giving me this great opportunity."

The British Racing Drivers' Club is, arguably, the most exclusive club in motor racing. With a membership that numbers only 850, it is home to the most successful racing drivers from Great Britain and the Commonwealth. Those who have met the exacting entry criteria have achieved at the highest levels of the sport, or made a significant contribution to enable others to do so. As a result, membership of the BRDC is highly sought after and extremely difficult to achieve. The list of members, past and present, reads like a 'Who's Who' of motor sport.

The BRDC takes its responsibility as 'guardians of British motor sport very seriously. In addition to maintaining and operating the only circuit currently licensed to run an F1 Grand Prix in Britain, the BRDC has for many years fostered young driver talent. That these factors have contributed to Britain retaining its high profile and achieving considerable success within motor sport over many years, is a source of great pride to the club and its members.

Team HARD. boss Tony Gilham said of this accolade: "Over the course of his career Jack has shown that he has a natural talent and last year he refined his drive and showed that consistency in results is the way to win a championship. I am very pleased for Jack, for a club as prestigious as the BRDC to award this on Jack is fantastic."
