Oulton Park Preview - WIN TICKETS!
By MJP Media | 30 May 2013
Following its early-season break, the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship roars into action again on June 8th and 9th as the teams and drivers head to the picturesque Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire.
Defending BTCC champion Gordon Shedden
Set in rolling parkland, Oulton Park is popular with drivers and fans alike with its undulating track and variety of fast and slow corners providing a real challenge for the drivers and a feast of entertainment for the fans. In recent years, the Cheshire circuit has seen some of the BTCC's fiercest battles and memorable events.
The 2013 BTCC season features one of the largest grids in recent years with 4 champions taking part. Reigning champion Gordon Shedden is currently 4th in the standings with Honda Yuasa Racing team-mate and former champion Matt Neal heading the championship table.
Reigning Independents Trophy winner Andrew Jordan is 2nd in the championship
2001 and 2010 champion Jason Plato is 3rd in the standings with 2009 champion Colin Turkington 8th. With 2012 Independents Trophy winner Andrew Jordan 2nd, Sam Tordoff 5th and only 34 points covering the top 5 drivers, the battle for the 2013 title is already intense.
For tickets to this fabulous event, visit the Oulton Park web site or call the Ticket Hotline on 0843 453 9000.
