Andy Priaulx to launch the new Ford GT at Autosport International

Autosport International will be hosting the incredible all-new Ford GT racing car, giving visitors a chance to be among the first in the world to see the new WEC racer in the flesh and hear from two of its star drivers.

The Ford GT will be taking to the race circuits of the world in the FIA World Endurance Championship this year, including the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans race in June, 50 years on from Ford's now-legendary 1-2-3 finish. Among the four drivers competing with Ford in the WEC are two Brits: BTCC star Andy Priaulx and Marino Franchitti. Autosport International marks the first time that motorsport fans can hear the two drivers speaking about the project. Both Franchitti and Priaulx will be on the Autosport Stage at 12:00 on Friday 15th January and at 12:45 on Saturday 16th January.

Also at the show, the ever-popular 5000-seater Live Action Arena will deliver a number of exciting indoor races, drift displays, celebrity appearances, interviews and wheel-to-wheel racing. Three-time FIA World Champion Petter Solberg will give visitors the chance to witness a masterclass in precision car control and electrifying stunts in an exhilarating, fresh routine. Plus, Alistair Moffatt will be returning for an all-new world record attempt with further details to follow in the coming days.
Also appearing will be one of the most famous and loved stars of motorcycle racing, Guy Martin. On both Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th January, he will be wowing crowds on a Honda CRF450 Short Track bike, performing with a number of other riders in a show that's not to be missed.

Visitors to the Performance Car Show presented by Landsail Tyres in association with Autocar and PistonHeads.com will be treated to another incredible display of performance hatchbacks as part of the all-new Hot Hatch Nirvana theme for this year. Called 'Evolution of the Hot Hatch', this brand new display will feature 10 hot hatches that have defined the genre for more than forty years. The display will take visitors on a wonderful journey, covering all of the key hot hatches that have moved the game on time after time.
