Running between Thursday 14th and Sunday 17th January, Autosport International is Europe's largest motor sport trade show and Radical is a long-standing exhibitor, celebrating many landmarks at the event over the past 15 years including the launches of the SR3, SR8, SR9 race cars and SR3 SL and RXC Turbo road cars. Radical are backed in their sports car development by BTCC title sponsors Dunlop, whose motor sport expertise is legendary.

This year sees Radical relocate to a site right next to the main visitor entrance, with the launch of two new flagship models alongside the 1,000th SR3 and the entry-level SR1. Radical are offering free championship entry with a new car deposit on the SR3 RSX, RXC Spyder and RXC Turbo at the show. The SR1 Cup package is available until the end of the show at a discounted price of £32,950 + VAT (normally £37,500 + VAT) so starting your racing journey has never been more affordable. To find out more, visit Radical at the show. The star of the stand was undoubtedly the brand new RXC Spyder, Radical's fastest ever car and looking awesome in the naked carbon fibre finish.

Over at Ginetta, Charlie Robertson has today been announced as their second factory driver after signing a five year deal to join the race car manufacturer's in-house development team and launching Ginetta's latest race car, the G57. The 18 year old will join current works driver Mike Simpson on the driving roster as the pair continue the development of the Ginetta motor sport fleet. Not only that, but Robertson will join Ginetta Chairman Lawrence Tomlinson and Simpson for selected races throughout 2016. With experience beyond his years, Charlie's unique knowledge will be made available to the company's customers across the globe as he will be available for driver coaching and as a Pro driver for all levels of racer looking to emulate his success.

Tomlinson said: "Charlie is one of the brightest young motor sport talents in the business and we are delighted to have him on board with us for the next five years. He is the epitome of what the Ginetta ladder can do for a young driver. There is no denying he has a successful future ahead of him.". Robertson said: "I am delighted to be joining Ginetta as their official factory driver. I've been a part of the Ginetta family since I was 16 and without them, I undoubtedly wouldn't be where I am today. I'm really looking forward to moving into this, the next phase of my professional motor sport career and I'm incredibly grateful to Lawrence for the opportunity."

BRDC SuperStar Robertson made his name as part of the Ginetta family in 2012 when he was crowned the Ginetta Junior Champion, a result he followed up with almost unchallenged victory in the 2014 Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup two years later. Continuing to ascend the Ginetta career ladder, Robertson made racing history alongside Olympic cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy last season. The pair piloted the Team LNT Ginetta-Nissan LMP3 to a class victory in the inaugural European Le Mans Series LMP3 class.
