Autosport International 2017 Preview
The Dunlop MSA BTCC stand at last year's Autosport International |
January sees the return of Autosport International - Europe's largest indoor pre-season motorsport event - from the 12th to the 15th at the NEC in Birmingham along with the Performance Car Show on 14th and 15th.
Starting in 1990, Autosport International will be celebrating its 27th anniversary at the NEC in Birmingham. The show is unique in that it encompasses two commercial days where the motorsport community does a lot of its deals, as well as two days for the general public where fans can see the cars up close and personal as well as meet and hear from the top drivers in the world.
Featuring the very latest in motorsport, automotive and performance engineering technology, alongside cars and exhibitors from every level of motor racing, the show provides the perfect platform for members of the industry to meet, network and do business as well as for enthusiasts to see the fastest cars, biggest stars and most amazing live action.
Reigning Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship champion Gordon Shedden is confirmed alongside three former BTCC champions: Colin Turkington, Matt Neal and Andrew Jordan. The BTCC will have their own major show stand and amongst those also attending will be Team BMR Subaru Racing.
The Live Action Arena at Autosport International is always a firm favourite, with its fast-moving programme of demonstrations and races from as wide a variety of motorsport as it is possible to imagine. The enclosed indoor arena enables everyone to experience the sights, sounds and smells of motorsport in its many and varied forms - an event not be missed!
The show is a fantastic chance for fans to see their heroes and their cars up close and personal and we will be there to bring you the news and announcements. The show is open for media and trade on January 12th and 13th with public access on the 14th and 15th.
